Day 01: Cochin
Arrive cochin. On arrival our representative will recieveyou and take to the hotel. Spend the afternoon with local sightseeing in Cochin. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Drive Cochin to Munnar (127 kms/ approx 4 hours)
Arrive at Cochin and depart to Munnar by road. Arrive Munnar and transfer to hotel. Lush green-carpeted tea and coffee plantations surround Munnar and is a picturesque hill station situated in the eastern part of Kerala. The beautiful landscapes, cosy weather, and the smell of tealeaves make Munnar one of the most sought-after destinations in South India. On arrival, transfer to your hotel.
Day 03: In Munnar
Morning enjoy local sightseeing of Munnar visiting Mattupetty – an artificial lake with a small hydroelectric project. Visit the Munnar town and Church. The evening is at leisure. Devikulam: An enchanting Hill station. The Sita Devi Lake with its mineral waters and picturesque surroundings. Powerhouse water falls, Anayirankal Dam. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: Munnar
Morning free for local sigfhtseeing that is Nyamakadu water falls, And Anaimudy view (South India Highest peak – 8841 feet from sea level = 2695 meters) And Eravikulam National Park – RAJAMALA- Where you can sea the rare species- Mountain Goat).
Day 05: Drive Munnar to Thekkady & Allepey (124 kms/ approx 4 hours)
Morning depart for Thekkady by road. Arrive Thekkady and transfer to hotel. Thekkady is well known for the spices grown that attracted the Europeans and a one of the most fascinating natural wildlife sanctuaries.
Day 06: Thekkady
Thekkady is a fascinating natural wildlife reserve spread across 777 sq. km, which was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. The Sanctuary is centred around the 24 sq km artificial lake formed by Mullaperiyar Dam across the Periyar river. There are three watch towers to observe wild life at Edappalayam and Manakkavala and Thannikudi.
Day 07: Drive Thekkady to Kumarakom (148Kms / approx 5 hours)
Today early morning enjoy boat rides on Lake Periyar, which is the best way to see the wildlife sanctuary. Return to hotel and after breakfast, depart for Kumarakom by road. Kumarakom is situated on the bank of Vembnad Lake – the backwaters for which maximum tourists visit Kerala from across the globe. Arrive Kumarakom and check-in to your resort.
Day 08: In Kumarakom
Morning the day is at leisure. Optional sun set boat cruise (at additional cost). You may enjoy the facilities offered by your resort such as Ayurvedic massages (on direct payment).
Day 09: Drive Kumarakom to Kovalam (175kms/ approx 5 hours)
Morning depart for Kovalam by road. Arrive and transfer to hotel. Kovalam Beach lies stretched out on the Malabar Coast, along the shoreline of a small town called Kovalam. Rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy on the beach.
Day 10: Morning proceed for city tour of Kanyakumari
visit Vivekananda Memorial rock by boat (on direct payment basis), Gandhi Mandapam and temple of Goddess Kanyakumari. In the late afternoon return to Kovalam
Day 11: Drive to Trivandrum
Early morning check out from hotel and transfer to Trivandrum airport/station.
